Mapping and Geo- Location of Industries

The Mapping and Geo-location of industries has entered its third week, with the team collecting data on existing and new industrial establishments. The World Bank funded exercise is being undertaken by the State Department for Industry alongside Kenya National Bureau of Standards, Kenya Industrial Estate.
The Team Lead, Director Hannah Kiarie, exuded confidence that the mapping will be completed within scheduled time, noting that almost all targeted establishments had been reached. She noted that the Research Assistants and Supervisors had also captured numerous new establishments, with more likely to be captured this week with the unlocking of challenges experienced.
