THE 8TH EDITION OF THE CHANGAMKA SHOPPING FESTIVAL AT THE KICC

PS Industry @DrJumaMukhwana, this morning officiated the opening of the 8th edition of the Changamka Shopping Festival at the KICC,  together with players in the Manufacturing sector. 

"To build this country, we need to focus on buying more of our locally manufactured products,  which you can be assured have gone through our regulators, to ensure that you get the best," Dr. Mukhwana assured Kenyans while noting that it was only through, "Buying Kenya",  that we can," Build Kenya".

The PS further noted that, the Changamka Festival showcased manufacturers confidence in the growth of industry in Kenya, with many of the industry captains, retailing their products during the festival.

KAM CEO, Tobias Alando, added on to the PS's remarks saying that collaboration between Government and manufacturers, in policy making and provision of conducive business environment, is the road towards growth of industry and making Kenya a continental business hub where global investors are willing to set up shop and prosper.

The event, currently ongoing, brings together manufacturers and traders to showcase goods made in Kenya.

The Changamka Shopping Festival also raises curtains for the 3rd Kenya Industrialization Conference that begins tomorrow at the KICC where guest speakers will be focusing on manufacturing and industry.
